Solid Lotion
Solid lotion melts upon contact with skin. It contains Cocoa and Shea Butters, virgin coconut oil and beeswax. The Cocoa and Shea Butters are natural skin Moisturizers. Virgin coconut oil is a natural anti-microbial, anti-aging oil. The beeswax gives the lotion its solid form.
Our lotions are scented with fragrance oils or
Essential Oils. Fragrance oils are blends of aroma components that
are created to smell like the real thing. Essential oils are natural
distilled oils of plants materials that have strong aromatic
components. Only the essential oils have the heath benefit. For
example a lavender fragrance oil will smell just like the lavender
essential oil, but only the lavender essential oil will have the
health benefits of lavender. We also carry unscented lotion for
people with allergies or for use on sensitive skin.
Popular uses
include:
Dry cracked feet. Just apply to feet before bedtime and
put a sock on so that the lotion does not rub off in bed.
Suntan
Oil. The patchouli essential oil is very popular for tanning.
Bug
repellent
Body perfume
Hair pomade
Be aware that the
solid lotion will melt in strong sunlight or heat. This does not harm
the lotion, just be sure the lotion is contained in a jar or plastic
bag so that it does not stain thing such as car seats or purses.
